The Canadian Vickers Vedette played an important role in the history of Canadian aviation during the 1920 s. This pusher biplane flying boat was developed mainly for forestry patrol and aerial photographic operations.
Between the two World Wars, more Vickers Vedettes were manufactured in this country than any other model. It also became the first aircraft to be manufactured in Canada for commercial operators.
