1936 Province of Alberta $1 Prosperity Certificate with 1 Stamp. An unusual scrip introduced by the Social Credit Party. Each week, the bearer had to affix a small stamp to the back or it would lose its $1 redemption value, incentivizing holders to spend it fast, pass the buck to someone else, and thereby stimulate the Depression economy.
